For being a bona fide Christian, Mr. John Woo sure has an idiosyncratic way of showing it. Please remind me again why he has to have huge shoot-outs in empty churches with lots and lots of candles and pigeons around? I mean I think I get the symbolism he’s aspiring for but isn’t it just a bit muddled up by the carnage?

Ignoring all that The Killer is very enjoyable action flick, way better than Face Off, Borked Arrow or (yeach) Windfart–, excuse me, talkers. Is this just stereotyping or does Hollywood really kill most people’s minds and hearts when it comes to movie making?
